PTA Fundraiser Invite

Taylor Basketball 2011_2012

January 23, 2012

Dear Parents and Families,

Happy Lunar New Year!
Recently there have been various celebrations and activities on campus.  Many students took part in our Spirit Dress days including 49er Day and Pink Day for Cancer Awareness and College Shirt Day.  Some PE students participated in a Core workout program with a professional trainer in our new PE workout room. Our leadership class has started organizing this year’s Respect Week tentatively scheduled in March. The Taylor drama class is starting rehearsals for their spring musical, Beauty and the Beast, scheduled for late March. Please see photos of these and other activities on the website.

Traffic Issue: Parents who drop off or pick up students at the Park and Rec. lot, please do not park in the spaces near the grassy area. This area is reserved for student loading and unloading. Students are asked to remain by the curb until their ride arrives. Thank you for your cooperation.

Mid trimester Progress reports for those students who are receiving a grade lower than a C will be sent through the mail next Monday.

This week you will receive an invite to this Year’s Taylor PTA Fundraiser
“An Evening in the French Quarter” distributed to students Tuesday or Wednesday this week. . Please indicate if you plan to attend or not and send the sheet back to school with your child. The event will be really fun!
